Roland Barthes (Cherburgo, 12 de novembre 1915 – Paris, 25 de martio 1980) esseva un philosopho, scriptor, essayisya e semiologo francese. Intra le schola structuralista, influite per le pensamento de Saussure e del formalistas e parte del nominate gruppo Tel Quel, ille un del grandes referentes del theoria del litteratura moderne.
