Le CVB es un ambiente factor contribuente al diabete de typo 1.
Epidemiologia

Physiopathologia

Su persistentia in iste cellulas pote esser responsabile de un immunitari reaction, in personnas geneticamente predisponite, contra β-cellulas ipse. Iste autoimmun destruction de β-cellulas es la causa del diabete de typo 1.[1][2]
Un vaccino infantil contra le CVB es studiate pro contribuar al prevention del diabete 1.[1]
