Lawrence Ferlinghetti (Yonkers, Nove York, 24 de martio 1919 - San Francisco, California, 22 de februario 2021[1]) era un scriptor e editor melio cognoscite como un del poetas le plus famose del movimento beat e como le fundator del editor e libreria City Lights Booksellers & Publishers. Ille era un centenario qui celebrava su 101e die natal in 2020 durante le pandemia de coronavirus que causava le clausura temporari del libreria City Lights que ille fundava in 1953.[2]
