Monte Fuji[1] es le plus alte monte in Japon, a 3,776 metros. Illo es un symbolo del pais e es sacrate in le religion de Shinto. Desde 2013 le vulcano es inscribite in le lista del Patrimonio Mundial per UNESCO.[2]

Le ultime eruption volcanic del monte comenciava le 16 de decembre 1707 e continuava usque 1 de januario 1708, causate per un seismo de magnitude 8.6 le 28 de octobre 1707.[3]
