Aspartam[1] (E951) es un edulcorante intense, discoperite in 1965. Es un dipeptido componite de duo aminoacidos natural, L-aspartic acido e L-phenylalanina sub forma de methylic ester. Iste additivo alimentar multo usate ha un potere sucrante circa 200 vices superior a isto del saccharosa.
